About Me
Hi, my name is Oscar "Ansgar" Cridland, and I'm a music producer, mixer, and audio engineer located in Greater London. I work in both studio and Live settings, with a strong understanding of Logic Pro X and Avid Pro Tools. I have experience with high-end analogue and digital systems, including the Avid S6 and S3/S4 control surfaces, the Audient ASP8024, DiGiCo SD9, and Behringer X32, as well as premium outboard gear from Neve, Universal Audio, Teletronix, Focusrite, Tegeler, Maag, and Manley. In 2025, I was honoured to receive the Live Audio Engineer of the Year award from Harman, presented by Buckinghamshire New University. I merge technical accuracy with a creative understanding to deliver impactful results customised for each artist and project. As a part of our course, my peers and I set up our own event, taking control of lighting, sound, cameras, marketing and booking.
My roles involved camera operation, mixing the track to the footage, and handling social media and graphics. It was a great opportunity as I developed newfound skills in Photoshop and video editing.
